The Melanie Dawn is U.S. Coast Guard inspected for up to 32 passengers.  The boat is 56 feet in length, powered by twin diesel engines, and has a walk-around, specially designed for larger groups.  While fishing aboard the Melanie Dawn, you will have  top of the line equipment of over 40 rods and reels combinations (electric reels available).  Our captain utilizes state-of-the-art marine electronic equipment including Sitex GPS, Loran color fish finder, radar, VHF, single sideband, and Eprib). The Melanie Dawn has 126 feet of fishing rail space with 16 rod holders for bottom fishing and a live well to keep your fish fresh.

The cabin on the Melanie Dawn is quite comfortable with air conditioning, two restrooms equipped with one freshwater shower, and a coffeemaker and  microwave in the kitchen area. Invite your family and friends to watch the dolphins ride the bow, while you fish.
